On The Buses: Belfast Comedy Tours

Belly Laughs’ alternative view of Belfast by bus returns. Comedian Paddy McDonnell will show you the funnier side of Belfast. Tours last from about 45 minutes to one hour.
Tickets prices £10 (£7 students / £8 seniors /discounts for 10 or more people).

Titanic Taste Tour
Venue: Titanic Foundation,Titanic House
Date: 9th – 10th October
An excursion through the Titanic Quarter with a 5 course walking tour, 5 venues which gives a taste of life in Belfast a century ago. A 3 hour journey of good food, drink, music and fun in Belfast!
Venues include the Titanic’s Dock & Pump-House, The Dock Café, SS Nomadic, Titanic Belfast and T13 Crane View kitchen.
Belfast Restaurant Week 2014

Belfast is the place to be for all foodies as there is a host of is a tasty celebration of local food and culinary events in numerous restaurants throughout the city.

Manon Lescaut (Ballet )

Kenneth MacMillan brings Manon’s story vividly to life, with his ballet, which is based on Abbé Prévost’s famous novel with the equally famous and beautiful music by Massenet. Two and a half hours of beautiful danse and music.
Shrek The Musical
Venue: Grand Opera House
Date: 8th – 19th October
Shrek The Musical brings the well known characters to life, in a fun filled and spectacular show based on the popular animation.
This mixture of adventure, laughter and romance will be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
Dr Hook at The Waterfront

The Horslips

Horslips return to the Ulster Hall 40 years after first playing there in October 1974 when promoting their album Dancehall Sweethearts. Many oldies will remember their most famous song Dearg Doom.
Madame Butterfly
Venue: Belfast Waterfront
Date: 26th October
Puccini’s most popular opera is back at The Waterfront by public demand.
Favourite pieces include the melodic Humming Chorus, the beautiful aria One Fine Day and the wonderful Love Duet.
Starring the Korean soprano Elena Dee.
Clannad
Venue: Belfast Waterfront
Date: 31st October
The haunying and ground breaking music of Clannad who exploded on the music scene with the Theme from Harry’s Game followed by numerous well known pieces including In A Lifetime, I Will Find You and the sound track to Robin Of Sherwood.
